Our Quality Events feature allows you to identify and address quality issues before they become critical. Legacy vision systems may reliably pass and fail products, but only with Elementary, can users natively configure notifications to stay ahead of critical quality issues.
With the Quality Event feature, users can subscribe to specific notifications tailored to their needs. Simply click the “add” button to create a new event, and select the type of issue from the trigger dropdown. Events can be set to trigger based on various criteria:
Item Failures
Quality Events integrate seamlessly with Elementary’s Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tool, providing timely alerts for more critical defects. For instance, a food manufacturer can set up an alert for when five consecutive packages have compromised seals, while only receiving notifications for cosmetic defects when ten or more occur in a row. This ensures that notifications are both relevant and require urgent corrective action.
Additionally, users can subscribe to notifications for all inspection stations or only those they oversee. When an alert is opened, users are directed to the specific analytics dashboard preconfigured to show the time, station, product, and predictions of interest – enabling quick and accurate diagnosis and resolution of issues.
